The Poetry of Super Mario Bros. 3

I'm going to assume that I'm very late to this one and that most you have seen this already. For those who haven't, I offer this link to one of the most astounding things I've ever seen. A Japanese player (can anyone translate the name for me at the end? I'd like to name my firstborn after him/her) beats Super Mario Bros. 3 in 11 minutes flat. There's a real beauty, a real grace to a well-played game that is far too underappreciated outside of gaming circles. This is a much more impressive display of skill then that NBA game I watched last night.

Sublimity Awaits

I wonder, by the way, what controller this player was using. Mine sure as hell didn't let me react like that.
rev 1.1--But I can sure play a mean pinball.
